So, this last week was a good week. I feel mostly adjusted to the new area now. It is hard because it is so much bigger than Ayungon. But the area is great and so are the members.
Work is moving forward pretty good. We are still a little lacking in investigators, but are working hard to find people. We are holding an open house at the church this Saturday where there will be a tour and film showing (The Restoration). We gave the members a ton of invitations to give out to people. It sounds like it will be a success. I sure hope so...
For mom's questions, I can't really explain what a barangay is. But we are still part of Bacolod city, so it is not quite like WVC to SLC, but it is way close. Yes, getting my birthday package will be easy, we go to the mission office every Tuesday to pick up stuff like that. I cant wait for Harry Potter, sounds way fun.
You asked about tithing with the members here. Well, most react pretty well and respond that it makes perfect sense. As far as actually paying it... sometimes they slack there, and that is why not all the churches have aircon. But I have had multiple investigators that on the Sunday of their confirmation brought tithing with them. Also similar with in-active members returning, they come back and they bring tithing.
The week was way simple,not much to talk about... Sorry. Either way, we gotta go. I'm starving!
